My name is Alexis Cruz. I was born and raised in Mexico City to a Greek mother and a Mexican father. At 25, after completing my degree in Mechanical Engineering, I moved to Berlin to specialize in Renewable Energy Systems and went on to complete a PhD in the field. I continued working as a researcher and, over time, became recognized as a scientist in the field.
On the surface, my life looked successful. To others, I seemed to be joyful and thriving. But inside, I was struggling living with constant inner conflict and mental health challenges.
The contrast between external success and internal suffering set me on a journey of self-exploration that has now spanned more than 20 years. I began with Lacanian psychoanalysis, spent many years in process-oriented work, and later dedicated myself to the psychological and spiritual teachings of the Pathwork, developed by Eva Pierrakos (https://pathwork.org/). Today I continue training myself with the European Pathwork Group lead by Senior Helper Hedda Kohler and the healing approach of Compassionate Inquiry developed by Dr. Gabor Maté and Sat Dharam Kaur N.D. as regular participant in the CI Membership.
Over time, I came to see that two great passions in my life science and spirituality are not separate, but deeply interconnected.
I discovered that many parts of my life were misaligned with my deepest truth, and this was the root of my suffering. That realization made me find that my true purpose is to support others in finding their unique path. My work now centers on helping people heal unconscious wounds through self-exploration, meditation, emotional development, and spiritual practice.
By reconnecting with the body, emotions, and feelings, we can reshape the ways our thoughts and nervous system respond, transforming negative patterns into life-affirming ones. Drawing on both the wisdom of spirituality and the evidence of science, I share the tools that have allowed me to feel deeply fulfilled and aligned with the life I consciously choose professionally, personally, and in relationship to the world around me.
This path is not without its challenges, but they are part of its beauty. I invite you to embrace them with me, so that you can step fully into the person you truly are and long to become. • Self-Exploration:
To cultivate emotional and spiritual health, exploring the self including the psyche, the heart, the soul, and the nervous system is an invaluable asset. The limitations we experience in life are often rooted in the extent of negative or traumatic events that left emotional wounds and defense mechanisms behind. These defenses were wise tools, helping us survive overwhelming situations and protecting our system in early life.
However, when carried into adulthood, these same mechanisms can become obstacles. They restrict our natural ability to process pain, release its energy, and return to our original, divine state of health. Unprocessed pain manifests as unconscious negative emotions, recurring unwanted life patterns, and even physical illness.
The good news is that our original, divine state of being is always accessible. Reconnecting with it opens us to love, joy, and a deep sense of connectedness. Through dedicated self-exploration, we can recognize and gently soften our defense mechanisms. This allows us to dissolve them, reach the core wounds beneath, and finally process them in the safety of the present moment.
